Boob Job

Good luck!!! I'm SURE you'll be happy that you are going through with it. Just smile through the pain and remember why you're doing it.

It's funny - for me it's the exact opposite: I've wanted a reduction for years, but I'm so scared of the pain, so I totally feel for you.

Let us all know how it goes and write as soon as you're able to sit up wink.gif

I am going the opposite direction and having depression issues. Long story.

Just remember to think of the wedding and it is what you ad FH want. Keep us updated. Am I wrong for wanting to see before and after photos. Just for the incisions and scaring and shape.

I will say that I would honestly wait until after your wedding. I did not have implants done (I had a reduction) but I don't know if you want to chance that beore your wedding. Research your surgeon (I took a year to get into the surgeon I went to see) and make sure they are good at what they do. I am a nurse in a recovery unit and I have seen many girls come back after complications have occured from a not so great doctor. It will probably be one of the best things you do for yourself but just make sure you know your doctor. Weigh all the pros and cons (I lost some sensation after the surgery) and then decide if it is right for you. If you keep the size nature, you won't even notice that you are larger when you look back on your wedding pics.

I also missed this thread the first time around. Good luck with your surgery, and I will be hoping for a quick and easy recovery for you.

I like a few others on here are at the opposite end of the spectrum...wanting a reduction. I have decided that once I am done having babies (probably only one more) than I am getting them 'wacked' as I call it. Gravity has already taken effect on my boobs and my back gets sore easily and more often. When I get my reduction, they also do a lift, so I am set...once I have baby #3. My sizes before pregnancy, during and after breast feeding are:

D - DDD - DD (my daughter)

DD - G - DDD (my son)

A little boobie history in our family: My Mom had a breast reduction before having me and it made her look so much thinner since she wasn't so top heavy. She was also able to breast feed both me and my sister, although it is touch and go with breast surgeries whether you can. You won't know until you try! My Mom's chest is back up to a DD and she is thinking of getting another reduction! My sister is 16 and is already wearing a D! We have boobie geans in our family. LOL

I guess the one nice thing about my surgery is that I won't have to pay for it, since it is covered by our healthcare!!! Sweet! Maybe I can use the $ that I would pay if I was just getting a lift, and go on a nice relaxing holiday after the healing is done!!!

Once again, good luck with your surgery!!!!!
