the dress I am wearing in this picture is a size 10. It zips most of the way.. aside from about a half inch. I am still loosing weight and have no doubt that I could fit in this dress.

HOWEVER (has to be one doesn't there?!) the boob area of the dress doesn't fit me very well. For once in my life my boobs are too big for something! The seamstress thinks I should order a size up because the bust area will be larger. However, it's pretty much a given that the rest of the dress is going to be too big.

She said she can enhance the bust area of the size 10 if I decide that route, or take in the size 12.

So which do you think is a better option? Increasing the bust area of the size 10, would be about 50 bucks. But i'm not sure how much it would cost to take in the entire dress if i get a size 12. But then again, I would think it would be easier to take in the 12, than change the entire top of the 10.

What would you do?

oooh tara, first i LOVE that dress on you. second, i would order the 10 if i were you, the alterations to take a 12 in everywhere versus letting the bust out in the 10 are going to be expensive. and if you lose more weight, then your boobs will probably get a bit smaller and fit into the 10 anyway. when i lose weight, my boobs are the first thing to go haha.

i should have specified more about the boob issue. My issue is that the boob area doens't cover as much as I'd like it too. It's a sweetheart neckline, and it is too low, so really she'd be adding fabric and lace to the top, to make the neckline higher to cover the girls better..... I'm not really a boob showing kind of gal, and def. don't want them out on my wedding day rolleyes.gif

does that change your opinions at all?
