What a sweet memory

Have you guys ever heard they saying (and I can't remember the exact wording) but it goes something like:

You can get a real understanding for someone on how they handle the next few things

 

Tangled christmas lights

 

A rainy day

 

And I know there is one more but I can't remember it - but it is so true - you can either be pissed or make the best of it. I vote make the best.......

I agree..everyone is going to remember the fun times you have at the resort, being relaxed in a fun environment, having drinks, moving at their own schedule. I think that is going to be the whole fun for me is when the wedding part is over and we can just relax and have fun with no schedule. i.e. (don't have to worry about frying my face in the sun anymore, eating too much that i can't fit in my dress, spilling a fruity drink on my dress,etc)

This is going to be the best vacation for all my family and friends and really a once in a lifetime deal. You will never get all these people together for a vacation again so that is what I'm going to treasure the most.

You girls are getting me so excited about the trip! I agree with being relieved when the wedding part is over. I can get tan lines, break a nail, and pig out at the ice cream bar at the hotel!

OMG I so agree with the frying my face part - and the food!! I am going to have to be a good girl the first 3 days I am there!! I am just soooo excited to go on a vacation w/ my whole fam - my parents got divorced when I was 18 so I had an awesome childhood and everything - FI goes on trips w/ his parents/fam every year and I have been a part of them for the last 2 years - I just really really wanted a nice vacation with my family - instead of having my parents pay a shitload of money for one day in my hometown - that is the whole reason I planned a DW - so we could all be together......cheesy I know but that is the most important thing to me!!

Ok, I have what is probably a stupid question. I'm not much of a reader of directions. How come I have nothing in my bank..I see I have points but those don't even seem to move with my posts. Not sure how that all works??

You have to go to the vpplaza menu & bank some points. You earn interest if you bank them. It's all kind of strange, but it's fun.

Cool, thanks!! I just made a deposit! Too bad that isn't savings for the wedding..ha Well, I think I'm off to bed girls. I'm going to try on wedding dresses tomorrow and need to get my beauty sleep
