Wedding Planning Software

Hi Everyone!

 

I am just getting started with this fun wedding planning and am really needing some software help. I have been looking at a few different planning softwares out there and was curious what people from here have used!

 

I read the I Do link, and actually have that free trial, but am having problems finding something that works best for having a destination wedding, and then having a reception back at home a couple months later.

 

Soooo....what have YOU used? What did you like/not like?

I actually bought the Ido software and wasn't really happy with it. I ended up going back to excel, cuz it's just so easy to manipulate.

I love theknot.com task list feature!

Figures....theknot.com is the one I haven't tried using just yet...but I will give it a shot!

I've been using Wedding Planner - Free online planning software. It looks like it's straight outta the '80s, but I love the "People" feature and the "Seating" one too. I don't really use it for much else, as it's not highly customizeable (sp?) but you can change SOME things.

I used the one from Sandals.com. I really like it and it's free. I think it would be great for what you want cause you can set up different events.

also keep in mind the reason why you are having a hard time making any of them work is that all the software and programs and wedding planning books are made for traditional weddings not DW's.
