Sparklers

I'm pretty sure they would let you travel with your fireworks, as long as they are well sealed and in checked luggage. ask them, nothing to lose.

I used sparklers at my wedding here in the states. We used them as we exited the reception - where you might traditionally throw rice or blow bubbles etc. Everybody held theirs up and we walked between the rows of people. Since it's unlikely that you'll be leaving your reception like that...I think the 1st dance idea is great!!! Also, it gives your guests something to do during the 1st dance since it's not always that exciting to stand around and watch people sway! lol!

Absolutely have a designated place for people to dispose of their sparklers. I used some cute white buckets of sand for mine. I even made a little sign to stick in them....making it a little more obvious what they were for.

I do not think you can travel w/ sparklers/fireworks. You can always call your airline to double check...but I'm not sure I'd try it. I mean they are, in essence, explosives. Which are a no-no. Also, make sure you have permission at the resort first and your WC there as well as your bridal party can help pass them out, light them and show people where to dispose of them.

Its a nice touch if you can swing it. people like lighting things on fire! ;-) lol!

Have fun and Good luck!!!
