I was at my 10 year high school reunion wearing an empire waisted top. The bartender at the bar we were at was 3 years older than me in hs (he really went places). I went up and ordered a beer from him. This is how our conversation went:

Him: You're Kate, right?

Me: Yea

Him: You look a lot different than you did in high school.

Me: I guess.

Him: You weren't pregnant in high school were you?

Me: (Getting where he was going) No.

Him: (Realizing that I probably wasn't preggo like he thought) Oh, you aren't pregnant now, are you?

Me: No.

 

It was sweet.
