Yeah the Justice of the Peace. They do legal wedding ceremonies. A lot of people just go to the Jp's office and get married.

We are doing all the legal stuff before we leave to Mexico because what matters to us is getting married in church since we are Catholics.

We have decided to get married before the DW to save the hassel and enjoy our time in mexico with our guests. Everyone has valid points but I guess it is going to come down to a individual decision for you and your FI (I'm starting to learn the abbreviations now)
