Welcome Dinner & rehearsal Dinner

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

After reading the board, I realized that a lot of you are paying additional to have a welcome dinners and rehearsal dinners. Does anyone know at Dreams Cabo if we can have the welcome dinner at one of the restaurants since it's an all inclusive? Or is it an extra charge bc of the large group at once?

Thanks!

We are getting married at the Moon Palace but I didn't even think of an extra charge for the rehearsal dinner - I figure it's an all-inclusive resort and I don't want any extra special treatment for our rehearsal dinner so I never even thought about having an extra charge!

It didn't make sense to me at first either...but then if you really think about it, the resort has so many people staying there and eating at the few restaurants they have and if everyone was able to bring the big groups in (since they don't take reservations) then they wouldn't be able to service the other guests really well.

So essentiall they are allowing/requiring you to make a reservation for a big party and they are pulling a set amount of wait staff and bartenders aside to take care of just your group so you get the best service ect....so it's makes sense to me now why they charge.

the other thing to consider is if you have guests not staying at dreams, then you will have to pay the day pass for them so their cost would be $85 or $90 pp vs the $25-$30.
