I picked #2 b/c if you are not having all the flowers on the cake (just perhaps the bottom layer like you mentioned) then #2 would work perfect to pull it all together.

 

Have you thought about chocolate candy shells instead of flowers?That would look really nice w/ #2.

I haven't thought about Choc. candy shells but I love that idea! Do you know were you can get something like that?
