Just changed my mind on flowers!

My AHR is NEXT Saturday. My florist called me this morning and said that the prices on the flowers I had ordered were more expensive than we had thought. Normally this would have been a bad thing, but ever since my last meeting with her I kept thinking I wanted to have completely different flowers. So this morning I had her check on prices of big sunflowers and they were cheaper than my previous choice which was white roses and white gerber daisies! I got my inspiration from the picture below. My colors are chocolate brown and the same color blue as that plate. My vases are a little different than the norm (don't laugh..and yes I am a redneck) - I am taking all the labels off of Jack Daniel bottles (they are square bottles and actually very cool looking) and I am putting choc. brown ribbon around each bottle and then 1 single large sunflower...

Another thing I am really wanting to do is the "wish bowl".. I really like the 'make a wish, take a wish' idea that I found on the knot.. I havn't really started anything on that so I will wait and see how much, if any, time I have left when I get everything else done. I am such a procrastinator!!

It is the same take as a "wish tree". What you do with make a wish & take a wish is have one empty vase that people will write down and put their wishes in for you and then you can have another vase where you have written down wishes for others and they take a wish for themselves from that vase.
