EDR wedding experiences

so basically anything over 50 you are forced to have a private event? I'm trying to get a gauge for the $$$ that i will spend prior to booking. Thanks for all the feedback.

If you want to use the private dinner that comes with the wedding packages, you can only have 40 people. If you have more guests, then yes you have to have a private event.

Again, ask Valeria but I was told that any party over 40, but no more than 50, can be accomodated but there is the extra $25/person charge for each over 40.

 

As for Matt & Malory, they were at La Isla

I wanted to, but we did not hav enough guests. I was told you need 64 resort guests to have the reception there. But I recall that someone posted a while back that they were told you needed 80 guests.

At any rate you need a large number of guests to have it there.

It was at "La Isla" which is not typically offered. They had two things go their way. They had a ton of guests, and the restaurant was not being used that night. I don't know for sure, but I think they have become less willing to do this over time. We pushed and pushed for that location since we loved it so much, but we got denied, denied, denied... 52 guests wasn't enough to get us in at that lcoation and in the end we ended up loving Tucanes!!!
