Dreams Cancun - DJ Option

Paula so from your experience, the sound system guy pretty much handled all the "dj" things.. And all you had to pay was for the rental of the equipment? it sucks because the best part of a wedding is the Hype man you know the guy that does all the mixing and saids things but i guess if they let you use a mic then you just ask someone in your party to do it no?? I am so upset because of how expensive everythign is coming out considering we were doing a DW to save money..

I think i missed this but how much was it to just rent the sound system and bring your ipod/cds. Think we could also do the ipod dock but sound system might be better...?

In the end it's still going to be way cheaper than a wedding locally. DJ and all.

I just got an email from claudia

DJ Includes:

Full equipment for reception, speakers, microphones, lot of music, lights, balloons for party, find some examples of the play lists he has

 

So I have decided that Im going with the dj!!

How much is she saying its going to cost you since you are a 2009 bride as well?? I asked her these questions but have yet to get a response??!!

I Don't think they have the prices list yet. she clearly stated to me the prices she sent me are for 2008 ONLY and the prices will change for 2009

Great News ladies they just approved mannia as a Dreams vendor So thats really all i wanted so i am a happy camper now!!

Does that mean that it's ok to hire him and pay him directly at his rates, or does that mean that you have to pay the ridiculous rate the hotel wants to charge but you can choose him as the DJ?

I really hope it is the former cause obviously that's a much better deal. I also really fell in love with some pics I saw on here of the lighted dance floor he has and would love to be able to get that as well!
