Hawaii AFTER HOURS Marriage Licensing

Hello Ladies!

 

I found out this information since we are arriving in Hawaii on a long weekend due to the Labor Day Holiday.

 

AFTER HOURS LICENSING

To obtain a Marriage License during non-business hours, call an agent below to schedule an appointment. Callers: Please check for time zone differences!!! Hawaii does NOT observe daylight savings time. Cost is the same $60; no extra charge, but you will need to get to their homes on your own.

 

Sherilynn (80 523-1880 (lives in downtown area; works days - Call between 5:30-7:00 p.m. HST)

Fusako (80 455-1186 (lives in Pearl City; Call ONLY between 4:00-6:00 p.m. HST)

 

OR

 

Another option is to call them (usually between 7:45 and 2pm Hawaii time they answer) at 808 586-4544 and tell them you need to get the license after office hours and they will give you instructions to go to the house of a marriage licensing agent. You just make an appointment.

Hi, thanks Jess! That's great to know!

 

We are planning on arriving one evening and getting married the next day, but it would be nice to ge that out of the way the first night so we don't have to deal with it later.

You are welcome! WE have changed our wedding date to August so we are no longer arriving on Labor Day weekend. But you are right, best to get it out of the way.
