What do you want to know from us Married Gals?

Recommended Posts

I must say this thread is very useful. Thank you everyone for all the input. And Karla I happen to like cotton eye joe (especially when I get to do the dance) but my friends are snobs and would kill my life if I played cotton eye joe at my wedding. Damn NYers! Love the polaroid guest book idea. I def have to do that!!

No Tammy I found him on my own. His name is David Flores and his email is [email protected] or [email protected]

Now let me say that sometimes I struggled with communicating with him and I wondered if he would show up...BUT he did show up, on time, did everything perfectly as asked and people loooooooved him. But if you decide to hire him just know that he is not the best planner/communicator. But a super talented guy.

Oh and his website is here. You can download 4 free demos!

I know...my only sadness is that I barely got to hear him play. During the ceremony I of course walked in at the end of his music and during the cocktail hour we were off taking pictures. But my guests loved him and I at least got to enjoy a few songs. And I put those 4 demos on my iPod :)

Hey Janet,
I know exactly how you feel. I didn't get to enjoy the Trio either. Same reason as you said exactly. The first I heard of them was on the video. Another reason I am so happy that I had a video!

Tammy, when I had dinner at the Sheraton they had either a duo or a trio and they were singing (they were at the De Cortez restaurant). Maybe you could ask the Sheraton if they will be there/could be there. They might split it with you given that they will be entertaining other guests at the restaurant.

FYI - they were set up outside, up against the restaurant half under the overhang.
