Still deciding b/t Sapphire and Azul, I have to do full budgets for each and get room rates back from Azul. It's going to be hard to let one of them go!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your review!!  Very helpful..thank you so much!  Do you worry at all that the rooms at Dreams don't have much of a private bathroom?  Wonder if that could be awkward for a new couple or friends..??

Is/has everybody done/did a legal ceremony?? It is very expensive and would save a LOT of money to do it here before...is that awkward??  Any thoughts??

my fiance and i are actually getting married here on valentines day (keeping it very low key, small, not inviting a whole bunch of people) and then we leave the day after for our wedding (wedding date is feb 19th)... we just think its easier for us to do it this way for paperwork reasons, etc.  and then we will celebrate the 19th as our wedding date/anniversary every year.

jystar13..thank you!  I agree that is the best idea - their is that ounce of us that feels like it won't be real.  Although in Mexico it could be the same cause the actual judge has to do it..??  Day before we leave would be awesome!!

We only saw on type of room...the one we saw def. had a private toilet! And the sink area was pretty enclosed...If a new couple is travelling together to Mexico, they should be fine !

The resorts that you just visited..were they open to show you the rooms?

We had appointments at all of them so yes, they were prepared to show us sleeping rooms (more than one type in most cases).
