I hope the information is useful... please ask questions - honestly I know I had thousands when I first started planning.

We are building off the WISH package (which is free when you book 7 nights) - it was significantly cheaper for us and we could pick everything exactly how we wanted it.

The signature drink is no extra charge - and I think we are going to do two separate ones - one for the welcome dinner and one for the reception - the Mango Margeritas are amazing!

Missy or Becks~ I figure one of you will know the answer to this... I'm trying to figure out if they use the same chairs for the ceremony and reception, like do they move them? Not that it really matters, but I'm curious if I get chair bows, do they use the same chairs for both so I only pay for bows once or do they use two sets of chairs and I have to have double the amount of bows? Make sense?

I had two sets of chairs. Because the beach is right where the reception area is (if you're using the terrace), it would be hard to get the chairs up off the beach and onto the terrace without it being really inconvenient.

On the other hand, if you're doing your cocktail hour lounge-style on the beach, and then dinner on the terrace, you could move everyone to the loungy space while staff took the chairs up the stairs to the terrace.

By the way, you can buy the bows on e-bay. If they have what you want, In the end they might be cheaper than renting. And then you could bring them back and resell them on BDW.

Hi Girls,

For those that have already had their weddings how far in advance did you book your hair and makeup at the spa? Do we do this on our own or can Perla do it for us? Also does anyone have a list of what the spa offers? I would like to treat my girls and myself to a spa day before the wedding. Thanks!

I had Perla arrange my hair trial - I would say3-4 weeks out is probably fine - remember there is only 1 wedding per day so you would take priority. In terms of make-up - one of my friends is a MAC make-up artist and she is travelling for the wedding so she will be doing my MOH and I's make-up - I think Becks had her make-up done at the salon and was happy with it.

Perla can probably email you a copy of the spa services -I will go and see if I can find it!

I took my makeup artist with me, too. So no help there. Frankly, I'm not entirely sure they do make up at the salon. Nails and such, yes, but I don't recall seeing any makeup there.

Leticia is the hair stylist, and she is great.

Frankly, I would have Perla book it as soon as you know what time you're thinking about. My only concern would be if you wanted your hair done at, say, 3:00, and one of your other guests called before you and took the 3:00 appointment.

I booked my August appointment in May. That was probably much farther in advance than necessary, but I was on a site visit, so why not...
