I want to bring white christmas lights for the terrace roof. I was thinking of wrapping them around the planks that make up the roof. If we bring our on lights will they set them up?

I love the idea! That's definately something to check on with Perla. They would probably charge you some electrical usage fee or set up fee. If you find out please post cause I have been thinking about lighting options. When I was there for my site visit I saw a wedding and the lights seemed really bright for night time reception on the terrace.

On another note.. What kind of centerpieces is everyone doing? Are you using the hurricane candles? Perla told me those were some of the only ones that wouldn't blow out in the breeze. I'm all about candles and mellow lighting but of course those aren't necessarily the prettiest.

I'm bringing down my own centerpieces. I bought hanging candle holders from Pier 1 that come with a little stand. They are aqua and then red votive holders to go around it with aqua and clear crystals from Michael's scattered on the table. I'll take pictures eventually and post them, but I love them. And the cost for one table is probably $10 or less. I never even looked into the options the resort had. oops. lol
