RIU Wedding Photography

I know...our photographer is paid in full as well and it would be very upsetting if she wasn't allowed to work. I don't know what to do. I'm thinking that I won't be able to do anything from here but will be talking to Michael as soon as we get there. We are also thinking that it's not right we have to pay him off, but if we do for peace of mind on the wedding day, then that's what we do. Just have to hope for the best I guess!

Ladies, try not to stress over it... You can tell Chandlyn at your meeting you do not need photography and run by the photo office and tell them you do not need their services. Everything will be fine - just enjoy yourself!!

I have a friend who is a photographer and accompanied a bride to a Riu hotel. He said the resort photographer just shot his pictures and and my friend did his. He said after the hour the resort photographer was gone. They got everyone to pretend for the ceramony and do some more shots. They said it was no problem. The brides photographer even agreed to go off site and do some extra photos the next day for the bride and groom. They just got re dressed for a couple of hours.

What about if you don't want to use his photography service, but you DO want to use the videography? How would i handle that?

That might actually make him happier, since the PhotoShop still gets paid for the videography. I would just go speak to him.

We're getting married at Riu Negril and I have just run into the same roadblock. I am freaking out! I am hoping somehow it sorts out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to manage? Should I do anything before I get down there? I've called my travel agent and will see what she says but if you all have any advice I would love it!
