?? about dress and wrinkles

I'm about to have my 2nd wedding gown fitting this weekend and a thought occurred to me. How did ya'll have your gown pressed/steamed upon arrival in Cabo? I don't want my dress to be horribly wrinkled on my wedding day. Any advice? Thanks.

I was just thinking the same thing this morning! I had a dream last night that my dress was all wrinkled and I got chocolate or something on it!!?? I believe that your hotel concierge should be able to assist with that; or perhaps your coordinator (if you have one) can make arrangements.

I totally understand your anxiety. I keep thinking something awful could happen to my dress. I'm such a worry wart! The coordinator at the hotel is on vacation this week, but I'll check with her next week. Thanks for the tip.

My wedding is on October 28th. I want to have bridal portraits done next month, which is why I'm working on my alterations now. Also, the bridal salon where I bought my dress is in Houston while I live in Austin, so I've had to plan weekend trips to get the alterations done. You're probably fine waiting 2 months in advance.

My first fitting is August 5th, and my wedding is the same weekend as yours. I probably could have waited a little longer too, but I, like Maria, have to go out of town for it....

my mom and sister did it for me....covered the iron with a pillow case and on LOW heat. i did not trust anyone else to touch it.
