Please help me with invites!

Okay...several questions here!

 

1. I loooove this invite. I am getting married in Mexico. Does this give you a Mexico vibe at all, even though the colors are not very Mexicoi-sh?

 

 

2. I was just engaged in January and am getting married in June. I did not send STD's since it's such a short engagement. How early should I send invites? We are sending them as a formality since we want to invite some people that won't be able to come, like grandparents.

 

3. Is it tacky to put rsvp to an e-mail address on the invite? I do not want to include rsvp cards, since I will pretty much already know who is coming.

I love those!!!!!!!!! They aren't really Mexico-y, but they are f'n awesome! Use them.

 

We did rsvp by email only. It worked well for us. Just make sure everyone you invite uses a computer - especially with elderly guests that might not be big into email.

I like them too! I also just wanted people to RSVP via our website, but then realized we had quite a few older guests who haven't entered the internet age yet. So we had to include a postcard.

Hello!

1. Beautiful invite! I think it's ultra classy and sophisticaed. The colours/style of invite don't always have to prefectly match the destination in my opinion. It looks like a great mix of colour to me and the subtle punch of coral is nice for a beach wedding.

3. Email is fine. I find it more convenient to be honest because I never seem to mail those reply cards back!

Those invites are so pretty! I'm planning to do online RSVP only except for my older family members who dont even own any computers

I love the invite and I would totally do RSVP by email so much easier to keep track of.

we're doing the RSVP online with our weddingwindow site, which is great.

 

love the invitations, but they dont look mexico-ish to me, but who cares. theyre great anyway!

Love them! I think they have a lot of latin flair. Definetly fit into a Mexican look, but with a bit more flamenco/Spanish influence. The contrast of the dark background with the white and bright flower is awesome. Where did you find these?

 

I think email rsvp would work just fine. Maybe add a phone number for those without computers, that way your guests can also call you up with any questions about your trip. As for when to send them, I think March would be good, half way point, and will give enough time for your guests to book.
