First off, thanks everyone who loves my siggy... I think its pretty great too :)

Second, Days 5 & 6 : Legs & back/Ab ripper and Kenpo X

Well, the legs and back wasn't too bad, except for the wall squats. When the super ripped people are having trouble, then you KNOW its not easy, lol!! Although I think I must be doing something wrong with using the bands for the chin ups - I can do like 15 or more with the bands. Shouldn't it be harder?? Maybe I'm just not far enough away... or the band isn't enough weight. Especially because I can't do a single chin up without using a chair for help. ALthough with a chair I can still do about 5 or more - so I don't think I'm doing it right. Its hard to watch them and do my own at the same time - especially since our bar is in a different room.

Kenpo X - not too terrible I can mostly keep up, although there were a couple times when I quit and didn't do the full 30. But that sure does make ya sweat!!

Beth - I didn't mention it but I really do think your siggy is adorable!

The wall squats kill! Oh man!

As for the chin ups, nothing will be as hard as your own body weight and resistance, you can get heavier weight bands if you want. I used a medium band and a chair for 6 weeks and then started being able to do a few pullups so even though they aren't crazy hard doesn't mean you're not getting stronger or closer to being able to do a pullup.

I tried to do a standing pullup every single day until one day I just could. I screamed and called my FI and he was really excited for me, it was fun :)

I love Kenpo!! Kickboxing has always been my thing :)

Thank you Kittenheart! I made it through day 1 and it was hard but I made it through it. My arms and and shoulders are feeling the heat, but it feels good.

The only question I have is how did you manage to eat as many calories as your suppose to? The diet is no problem for me but I'm not a big meat eat to begin with. I don't eat beef or pork so my protein is limited but I'm having a hard time getting 5 in for the day and getting between 16-1800 calories all at the same time. I was struggling trying to finish my dinner tonight. If you don't mind could you tell me what you would eat on a daily basis? Or did you eat what was on the meal plan? Sorry if you've already posted it, I haven't looked at the previous posts.

TIA

Hi Angel,

Yeah all those pushups were killer for me at first! I too don't really eat red me or lots of meat to begin with so I really struggled with the first month of the diet.

My staples are egg whites, I'd throw some chicken sausage in there too or some lean ham or turkey, protein bars & shakes saved me for sure, I would have a dinner and then a protein shake after to get all my protein in and it was like dessert, I loved it!

Cool, I think that's what I'll do. Thanks!!

My coach looked over my food diary on myfitnesspal and she said my carbs are too high and protein is too low. Which is confusing to me because I only have 1 a day, but I guess I need to balance it out with everything else that I eat.

I made it through day 3 and it wasn't too bad today. My daughter did Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X with me today. She loved it. I should have had her do Plyometrics with me yesterday. OMG!!!!That was no joke, it kicked my ass. I almost threw up and I've never done that before in any workout. I had to stop it for 10 min before starting again. It's like a love hate kinda thing. KWIM? But I am feeling my whole body tingling. I guess I'm doing something right. Lets see how I do with an hour and a half of yoga tomorrow.
