So today FI picks up his mom from the airport and she says" so and so had an awful experience with TA and ended up having to book on Orbitz"!!!!!!!!!!!!1 WTF.. what is wrong with people that she got such a DISTORTED version of what actually happened. SEE PEOPLE ARE DUMB Okay, thanks for the rant. I am not trying be crazy, but really, come on dont complain about things when you own stupidity causes it.

Erika.. I would react totally the same way. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people are just being dumb!!!

My phone died and FI, myself and one of my BM's were emailing while we were on the train on the way to a Yankee game. So, we were both emailing her from FI's phone... Anyway, he picked up an email from her and I looked at his phone thinking that it was a response to our conversation we were all having; but it was about my shower. FI doesn't realize I saw it... and he closed the window really fast once he realized what it was about. He asked me if I saw it and said it was about my wedding gift. Sunsetbride1.... A somewat similar thing happened to me with my surprise Bach party... But I didn't know details so it was still exciting and surprising... Just smile slot and look very honoured! That's what I did

Acutally My TA rates from the room block were the BEST for a long time. It was just last week with the booking fees eliminated and they had a one kid free thing.

sunsetbride, i knew about BOTH my "surprise" showers ... the first one i played it off like i was surprised (SO hard for me, because i am THE WORST LIAR EVER ... thankfully that made me really nervous on top of not liking being center of attention, so my hands were actually shaking ... made it much more convincing). like you said, they were all so proud of themselves for pulling it off (including FI) that i couldn't bear to let on that i knew. i did tell FI in the car on the way home, but i wish i hadn't.

 

at the second one, i was able to say, "after what my girlfriends did to me two weeks ago, i was suspicious of EVERYTHING!" so i acted like i suspected something, but wasn't sure. much less nervewracking than full-out "acting."

I dreamt last night that I got banned from BDW!!!! I was freaking out!!! There was no good reason for it!! I didn't get an email from Tammy or any of the other mods!! All I could think of was getting a message to Tammy begging to know what I did wrong. I was going to get one of the girls I have contact with outside of the forum to send her a msg on my behalf!!! I was so excited when I woke up & finally realized it wasn't true!!

I confess that I am hardcore PMSing today and I am dying for ALL of the following asap: chips, cherry blasters, and any freakin' chocolate I can get my hands on. I also feel totally guilty about it but I know that I will somehow end up with one if not all of these things at some point today haha.
