So, right now its scheduled for Monday. Idk if I mentioned this before, but our original closing date was August 10th, when our loan wasn't approved and we couldn't close on that date we went into a penalty phase to keep our contract. So, since August 10th we are paying $100 PER DAY to keep the house so they won't sell it to someone else. So everyday that it gets delayed is costing us alot of money! Otherwise I wouldn't care so much. So, here's hoping it happens Monday. shots.gif

Thanks for your support girls. :)
Ok WTF?! Sounds to me like someone else should be paying that fee! You are not delaying it, you shouldn't be paying it! I would be saying and/or doing something about that if I were you! I think your attorney needs to cough up the penalty money for at least not closing this last time and waiting till Monday! I would be so fuming!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Future Mrs. Kt Ellis - I think we have all been there! I think i said that to my DH when we were planning our wedding liek every week. But in the end Im so glad we had a wedding with our family and friends. It does get better and it will be worth it in the end - i promise!! We had our hearts set on Mexico but swine flu killed that 4 days before we were suppose to leave. We ended up getting married in Santa Barbara, CA and i honestly couldnt have imagined a more perfect wedding. I see you are looking into S. Cali - have you thought about SB?? Good luck!!

Santa Barbara was an option for a little bit. But then I didn't pursue it when we thought Laguna Beach was going to work better. But I think I will try to look into that more. I loved the pictures of the 4 seasons but I'm worried about the price of the reception since the minimums at those big resorts are so much and we only have 70 people on our list(if ALL of them come, which we all know doesn't happen with a DW, even if it is in the U.S.)

Ya the minimums are pretty outrageous at the Four Seasons - the only reason we could afford to do it there is because htey waived all the minimums for us. We planned our wedding there in 6 weeks adn they felt sorry for us since we told them what happened to our Mexico plans. The Fes Parker Double Tree is also great I dont think has the same minimum requirements :) Good luck and feel free to PM me if u have any questions
