Have you exercised today?

I'm with you Cindy. There's a girl at work that joined my gym a few months ago. The original plan was to meet there in the mornings to work out before work. In a total of 3 months, I think she's actually shown up about 5 times. So much for an accountability partner... hahaha.

 

Did 4 miles this morning on the rat wheel.

I was suppose to take bootcamp & pilates but I am so sore from yesterday doing Kickboxing and Spin that I decided to let my body rest and see how I feel after work and then possibly go for a run instead. I hate missing the gym I feel lazy but sometimes I just over do it. I do not see major results for all the working out I do my FI thinks I do not eat enough. The whole calories burned vs intake gets me confused.

Hey, so I hope you all don't mind me joining this thread. Sometimes I totally need other people to be accountable to and I've decided You're It! lol Today I went walking for an hour outside. I have to drive my route so I can actually see how far I'm going miles-wise. I'm trying to get as many outdoor workouts as possible in before its too cold.

Check out this website FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal I've used it in the past. You can enter your current stats, goals, food each day, and workouts and it'll show you your calories burned including what you burn just to function everyday. You can enter custom foods by using the labels on what you normally eat. Its a little time consuming at first, but once they're in there its so easy to use and you know exactly what you've taken in and burned off. I like it, but I'm also a little anal when I'm watching what I eat, so it may not be for everyone.

Hey Ladies

 

Wanted to thank everyone for their posts on this thread. Its helped give me that extra push at times when i just feel like sitting round surfing the net.

 

Im off tomorrow for the wedding and have lost nearly 10kgs which is what i wanted. I now fit perfectly in the dress of my dreams.

 

And to those ladies who said that they had the gym buddy who never shows up - well I had one of those aswell - pain in the a** i know but she now sees that my hard work has paid off and is green with envy - so i guess its my own pay back.

 

So keep going everyone - YOU CAN DO IT !!!

KLC77 Please joing this thread is grrrreat!!!! thanks I currently track my days in both Weight Watchers and Self Diet Club. I am actually going to stop Weight Watchers Self Diet Club is pretty good and its free if you subscribe to self.

 

RayofSunshyne CONGRATS on both loosing and your wedding you should be so proud of yourself. Have a great time!!!!!

KLC77 I checked out the site your recommended and I like it. I like that you can put in your goal and it calculates the number of daily calories. My FSIL is a trainer and for months she has been saying she does not think I eat enough, I thought of course I do but turns out I was not so this site will be really helpful thanks! I just want to loose the last 15lbs.
