Have you exercised today?

You guys are talking to a girl who just ate a huge ice cream sandwich because I had a crap day. We all do it. It's ok to do as long as it's not every day.

 

Btw - my gym open 30 minutes late today so all I could do was run - no weights. That was the start of the crap day that led to the ice cream sandwich.

So I got all the way home and decided I should go for a run instead since I really need to workout. I got about a mile into it and it started to absolutely downpour. (I live in Washington, so I should have known better)

I felt like I was running with an extra 5 pounds because I was so soaked. Needless to say, when I got home I was not in a good mood. I yelled at my FI for something...can't even remember now, then attacked the jar of peanut butter with a spoon....dipped the peanut butter into a box of cereal and went to town like I hadn't eaten in days. smile78.gif

Why in gods name do I do this? Please someone tell me you get mad/angry/sad/something....and eat odd things in horrid quantities. Sometimes I think I'm nuts!
Freakin' hilarious! I do this ALL the time. I have really lame excuses for not walking into the gym...my favorite is standing outside the gym ready to go in and realizing that the foam from my headset is starting to wear down so I do not want to have my ears get chaffed so I better go to Target instead and buy a new pair of earphones and then going down the food aisle and getting snacks and CD's...oh yeah, the reason I'm at Target....Oh well, too late to go to the gym!!!! Self-sabotage!!smile105.gif

I did make it to kickboxing today and PLAN to run tomorrow (my least favorite thing to do).

Y'all are hilarious! Of course who wouldn't rather eat than exercise? Esp eat sweets! That's a no-brainer! I love to work out, but eating takes the cake for sure. Those are the best days when you're on your way to the gym and suddenly you have a revelation that takes you past the gym and to a restaurant.

Food has more woman magnetic power, that's what I've decided. Women and food are naturally meant to be together. Moreso than women and the gym. So don't beat urselves up ab it! MODERATION.

Kate, you are doing an awesome job. Keep it up.

I was feeling sick all weekend, so I did not work out. But, I did meet with my trainer yesterday and she kicked my butt, again. I am going to hit the gym on Friday, can't get there till then. I really wish I still lived in Toronto where I went to the gym everyday at lunch. Its so hard when you have no where to work out at lunch time and you spend nights trying to help out family. I will get this weight off though, I just have to work a little harder and learn to take some time for myself.
