Plantation Reception at ROR

Hi Ladies, for the brides that have been to the Riu Ocho Rios and had their reception at the Plantation...or if you happen to know. What happens when your 6:30-10:30 time slot is up? Will they allow you to stay if you have your own DJ and party going on??

If not, do you know if they will allow you to set up the rest of the night as a beach party instead?

Our party was still going strong at 10:30 pm...therefore we paid for another hour and it was fine. The staff was great about staying on...they were partying it up also!!!

We just tipped the DJ and the guys working at the restaurant and they let us stay an extra hour.

Hey I have a question that maybe you can help me out with! I got information saying you can have a private reception @ the Plantation for $1,000 for 4 hours (includes.. dinner, red & white wine, juices, sodas & beers) I was just wondering if you have to pay anything extra per person or if that includes all your guests no matter how many you have attending?? Thank you so much!

We had 60 guests and all we paid was the $1000.00. I don't know how we lucked out but they had the bar open for everyone as well. We paid to have the DJ and champagne as extras. At the end of the night we wanted an extra hour so we tipped the DJ and the servers and they let us keep partying.
