My FI is wearing a long sleeve Linen shirt, and linen pants.. what should my father wear? Can you all give post what your dad' wore?

I was afraid of what my dad would wear (no joke) so I bought him the same shirt as the boys only in a light blue.. I asked him to wear khakis so it was hard to mess up.

My husband plans to wear a light grey suit, shirt and tie. He reckons he will only get one opportunity to walk Katie down the aisle. He knows he will be hot but after the ceremony he can take off the jacket and tie.

FI's dad is wearring kahaki pants and a white button down shirt, FI is wearing a kahaki suit.

My FI is wearing a tan suit. I kind of feel like my dad needs to dress someone similar if not a little less dressy. I don't want the Father of the Bride to outdres the Groom, RIght?!?

Having a hard time with this as well. My mom bought my dad a tropical print shirt which I am horrified to see. My fiance is wearing a tan suit, no tie. My dad thinks if he wears the shirt my mom got him, he will "look like a dork". Should I have him wear tan pants and white shirt? Does he need a jacket?

My colors are navy blue and green, and our ceremony will be a bit more formal, so my dad is wearing a navy suit (will take off the jacket for the reception) and FI's dad is wearing a Navy blue jacket with khakis.  Both are going to find fun green/navy ties.  I had to talk both of them out of wearing shorts.

Im telling my dad to wear khaki pants and a solid color button up shirt. Im going to let him decide (within reason) what color he wants to wear. Our ceremony is going to be pretty casual and I want him to feel comfortable and relaxed!

I think the solid color is key. Might need to suggest he choose something without a loud print
