Green screen photography for our AHR

I'll post the steps once it comes in. This is how I think it will work:

 

1. i'll take peoples pictures in front of the screen. I think I'll need to have them stand on either a green floor cover or some of the screen.

 

2. use magic eraser in photoshop (one click & the background is gone)

 

3. select them & paste them onto a new background.

 

The green is good because people are probably not wearing a shade that bright. If it was a black screen, there would likely be overlap with their clothes or hair. It would then be harder to remove the background.

 

I think it might be tricky to get the lighting right. I don't have studio lights. We need to avoid shadows as much as we can. I haven't really figured out hiw this will work.

 

My plan for this weekend is to take people's pictures during the aprty. Then I'll photoshop them through the week & upload them onto a website so everyone can see their picture & take a copy. If it goes well, I'll do this at my bachelorette party & AHR. I'll let y'all know how it goes.
