I dont know if anyone else is thinking about Beach towels as part of the oot bags... but i just found this site, that has caban towels for $49.95 for a dozen..

that is a great idea and find...not to be a wet beach blanket but if you have a larger wedding it will be hard to transport so you may want to have it shipped directly to your destination wedding location.

You're totally right about the size of the wedding & transporting

 

the only good thing about my wedding being in greece is that i have family there.. i'm thinking, if i do this i would ship some things directly to my cousin. I know that doesnt help anyone else

or i send them to the planner?!?!

as long as you plan on having them shipped directly to your family/planner...if you have it shipped to yourself then to greece it can get expensive but what a nice treat for your guests!

Great post! I was thinking of doing something like this as well, maybe like 1 towel per couple. It will depend on cost, and if I think people will want to have this extra item to carry it back to the states with them.

 

I was also thinking of getting the towels in our wedding colors, then having them embroidered, but again, not sure if this is in the budget yet!

I was thinking the same thing, 1 per couple/family in the gift bag not 1 per person.... but even then it may get to be too much. just collecting ideas now!

I was thinking of doing this too, but I think it could get pricey. Plus it may be an inconvenience for people to pack in their luggage on the way back. But I do love them though. Hmmm...we will all have to figure it out: confused:
