Finally found dresses with 1 month 2 wks til wedding! Ahhhhh

David's Bridal - Bridesmaid 81255 Strapless flat taffeta short dress with bubble hem and sash at waist.

It's actually in the plum color, kinda purple

my girls picked their dresses this weekend, and although i gave them the option of wearing short dresses, off the rack from some department store to save them $$$, they decided to go with long dresses, and ordered them from david's bridal. they are $135, which isn't awful i guess ... i just felt bad since they are spending so much to come. it was their decision to go this way tho, so my conscience is clear! i really like the dresses too ... and now that they're wearing long dresses, i don't have to worry about the killer wind at the dreams gazebo lifting their skirts, LOL!

My maids and I also went shopping this weekend and found the dressess.. Im waiting for the correct color swatches to be mailed before to decide on a color but they suit both girls and were 269.00 CAD each!

Oh yeah and I bought another "secret" wedding dress for after the ceremony lol !!

I gave my one and only BM free reign on what to wear, as long as it was in the "blue or turquoise" family of colour. She picked this Alfred Angelo number. Its simple and I like it! I told her not to spend a fortune anyway, because she's gonna go swimming in it (whether she likes it or not)

Here is the dress that my MOH will be wearing... She's very tall and feels more comfortable in a short dress vs. a long one. I just want her to be comfortable and not too hot.
