Okay I would love some honest opinions. I bought this dress for my bridemaids. My ceremony is on the beach and the reception is at a private villa beach front in Puerto Vallarta. Our theme for the wedding design is 1920's Miami Beach (to sum up vintage beach elegance). I love this dress and it looks amazing on all my BM, but it isn't a traditional BM dress. Thoughts....

OKay, here are my BM dresses. They have been a big struggle as my sister HATES her dress. I really like the dresses and the girls will be super comfy in them. Obviously the dresses (including mine) still need to be altered. The girls dresses will be shorter and have darts put in under the breasts. My sisters dress needs to be taken in all around. Also, they are looking for some sexy strappy wedge sandals (maybe in gold) to wear with the dresses.

I found my bridesmaid dresses today at David's Bridal! They were not what I had in mind originally, but when we saw them we thought they were cute. The girls LOVED them and they were very flattering on. They will also be able to wear them again.

I FINALLY found my BM's dresses! For some reason, this has been the most difficult part of planning a wedding. I decided to go with a dress from Jcrew. It's the silk chiffon juliet dress in kelly green. I LOVE them! I ordered them last night. From what I have seen from other girls who have used this dress, it seems to fit all body types really well.

i went with jcrew, too! they had some amazing sales going on not too long ago, so we got a great deal on the dress and the sash/scarf.

the dresses will be a little shorter than what is pictured...the bmaids are having them tailored a little above the knee because that's about my dress length. the sashes are actually linen scarves from jcrew that can be used as wraps, too, when it gets chilly! (those will be tied more neatly the day of in a square knot off to the side!)
