I'm getting married at The Barcelo in Riviera Maya on May 2, 2009 at 4pm. I'm having a beach wedding and want to be cognizant of the hot weather. I do like the look of the longer satin dresses; however, I know that material is hot. Could any past or future brides give me some advice? I do want a long length BM dress but I don't want my bridesmaids to pass out from the heat! LOL!

Any advice you could give me would be great!!!! Thanks!!!

Sorry this is late. My dress is similar to Amy's and also in chiffon. I tried it on myself and its pretty light, i think chiffon is great for the beach.

I just found these too and I'm curious to see what people think??

They are both Ecoskin. This one is 'beachy' to me minus the cowboy boots and I can't figure out if I love it or if it is just okay ($166). It is a blend of bamboo and tencel (wood pulp, I guess):

This one is more 'sweet' and romantic ($132):

Help me! BM dresses are killing me!!!

I just bought this dress for my maid of honor and tie for our best man. I just love the color combo.
