Bikini Wax?

Great thread! Everyones advice is very helpful and answered a lot of my questions.

my friend suggested veet to me. It's a spray on foam that you leave on for 3 minutes. then you "shave" the hair off with a bladeless razor. it worked great. No pain doing it & no irritation afterwards.

I'm w/ Yari on this one...that's doesn't sound right!...I'd definately call the spa where you got this done...Maybe you needed her to use sensitive skin wax Whenever I get mine done I make sure they use the "sugaring" type wax...I never break out w/ razor burn or inflamation!!! i was soooo nervous the first time. I did a full brazilian, it took about 15 mins and hurt like hell!!! but the results are so worth it. it gets easier as you keep going though.

Great thread! I really want to surprise my honey in May when we get married but I am afraid to go. I read all these posts and it builds my courage a little... I guess the one thing I am nervous about is that I am overweight and that bothers me... I am wondering if bigger chicks go and get this done.............or will they think "why is she here? hahahha

I was super nervous but I did the full brazilian for the wedding...it is totally worth it and really does not hurt that bad. After once, it is easy! My waxer recommended a shot of tequila before - lol

I was thinking about popping a perc or something before I go!! My appt is at 10:30 am so no drinking before. I am super scared, like a big chicken shit!

i have a friend who's a "bigger chick" as you put it and she goes once a month and loves it! all of the women i've ever come across at the spa are super nice so i'm sure they won't think like that.
