Timeshare: Dreams Los Cabos=Club Casa Dorada Beach and Golf

Call me crazy but I had no idea that Dreams, like many Cabo resorts utilizes a portion of there resort for timeshares. This is actually huge since many guests, mine incuded, wanted to use there timeshares or exchange. This property in only offered through RCI, but is still AI.

 

Dreams brides, this helps reduce the $80 day of fee for guests who don't stay on property!

i knew it had a timeshare program but did not know it included AI...this is great! their timeshare people are not as aggressive as other resorts i visited.

 

FYI, for those interested in timeshares it is a safer bet to purchase one in US (ie. RCI) than while in mexico because their laws are diff. and there is not much recourse if you get screwed.

There is one listing for Dreams timeshare in the vrbo.com website.

 

A couple of our guests used this website for booking in Cabo and it saved them tons of $$. We have also used it to book a house in Lake Tahoe for a ski trip so I can totally recommend this site.

We have used vrbo.com for a Whistler trip and an Oregon coast trip. They are great. We actually put a link to it on our wedding website.

my mom uses vrbo to list her vacation home. She has had great success. She was just telling me the other day that she received a letter from the owners of VRBO - they originally started the site to rent their house in Colorado - then they started advertising their friends' houses and it just exploded from a basement operation to what it is

Hi JPMO-
I know that you left this message a-long time ago but I was wondering what you meant about reducing the $80/day when using the time share. Does the use of the time-share take you out of the responsibilty of the day pass. I'm wondering b/c I have a time share that i'de like to use during my wedding. Thanks

The $80 fee is for the all inclusive benifits and is mandatory when you trade into this resort. The fee is charged per person. ( I think you may want to check with RCI, because I think the AI fee has increased since the original post)

 

Also you can only get into the dreams timeshares thru RCI, so I know because my family almost traded into the wrong resort with a very similar name with interval.

Thanks so much! I think the fee per day has increased. The fee varies. It depends on the time of year you visit. I'm glad I invested in RCI last year. Hooray!!
