Hi Girls!!! We are back from Europe! I feel that I have sooo muich catching up to do!!!! I will be reading the pages that I've missed and posting soon!!!! I hope everything is well and everyone is having a great summer!!!!!

We brought our own photographer and it was no problem at all. Since she stayed at the Resort, we just told them we wouldn't need photography services. If you are hiring someone to come only for the day though, you will need to pay a day pass for them.

 

And they are not willing to substitute anything in the packages.

To add to the photographer talk, it is 79$ for a wedding pass for them.  I would also recommend that when you meet the WC upon arrival, request that they call the photogapher the morning of your ceremony to confirm arrival time and whatnot.  My photog was late and didn't communicate well the day before the ceremony and the day of so I had to have the WC intervene about an hour and a half befroe the ceremony.  Save yourself the stress and have the WC do it from the get-go!

I am getting married in Dreams Punta Cana next June and I am looking for a good photographer/videographer.

I am planning my wedding for DPC for June 24, 2011. My travel agent informed me of what to do and the first thing was to go onto the website and complete the wedding reservations form. I received a response back in 2 days confirming receipt and the date was available. It does take a few days for the resort to confirm with the judge that the date is available. I only waited a week and received confirmation of the date. You also need to put a deposit of $100 to reserve your date. I am currently in communication with Deyanira who is my wedding coordinator and she has been great at responding to all of my resquests. It usually takes 2 days for a response from her after I send an email which is not bad at all. If you havent heard anything yet I would try calling. It wouldnt hurt. Good luck with everything.

Thanks everyone for the input!  We have the date reserved for May 20, 2011, I am a little less stressed now!  My save the date cards are finally going out next week!

Hi Girls! quick question, does any one have a program for a catholic ceremony in Dreams?
