Just an FYI, you can see the ocean from the Himitsu, but it's really far away.. very close to the gazebo..

I don't remember being able to see the ocean from the Himitsu terrace. Hmm ok I just went and looked at some pics LOL And you are right you can see it but very far away.

So I have been looking into the la barcaza for my reception. Is anyone else doing this? My only concern is the ride to the boat, it takes 45min? I dont think my fiance wants to ride that long after the wedding. Plus it might be too late because my wedding is not until 6:30pm. Anyone else have a concern about transportation?

jmcaulay, we are using la barcaza for our reception. what i know is that if your ceremony doesn't start until 6:30, you won't be able to do la barcaza. they are only permitted to cruise until 10, so your cruise would have to start at 7, which means you'd get picked up at the resort at 6.

 

does it start so late because you are doing a legal ceremony?

Everything is great here! working like crazy regarding our invitations! I will try to post tonight the madness of boarding passes in three languages that we are putting together! (english for here, spanish for my guests from argentina and portuguese for my FI's family in Portugal). Madnesss! lol

Hi everyone! I'm new to this but have been reading up on your thread and feel like i've learned a lot already. I am planning on getting married in Jan 2011 and feel like there are so many questions and so much to do!

it must be some law of physics i don't understand, but i seem to be adding things to my to do list faster than i can take them off. just under 6 weeks to go and i don't feel like i've made a dent at all! who knew that it took so much to prepare?
