the preferred club offers a "sectioned off" area for those members only, but we were in it all the time... you also get yellow towels instead of blue and upgraded toiletries (sp?)... you will be in building 6 which is closer to the beach, but farther from the buffet and lobby. I think that's about all the extras you get ... no wait, you also get better snacks too...

There are palapas everywhere, even by the pool... they are not just in that section...

SO Deyanira wrote me back, and said that the beach is still $300 extra So I asked her what exactly "beach casita" means... hah

yep, we're only getting married once! so ill guess we'll spurge :-)

we were gonna get 1st class tickets too but i think thats a lil excessive hahaha! we're saving that money for putting our dogs in a doggy hotel ;-)

Hahaha Jen we are upgrading our seats to premium, but its only $40 per person each way... not quite as pricey as 1st class! haha

 

We booked ours into a place that we have used before, they only charge like $60 bucks for a week and they are very good to our dogs

$60 bucks for a week? seriously? that is an amazing price for boarding!! i think ours is going to be like $300 for the whole week, but we have two pretty big dogs. at least i know they will be well taken care of.

 

any word on the "beach casita"? i think they just change the names of things to make them sound new, but it's all the same old stuff!

I wish it was that cheap for us, we have 2 big dogs and each one is $400 a piece for the whole week, so we gotta kick out $800, anyone we would trust our dogs with will be on the trip lol..... Our dogs better be lucky we love them : )

yeah Jenn its like a charter carrier... check with your carrier, maybe they offer something similar!

 

The place I take my dogs charges the same price for big dogs... I guess I'm very lucky!!

 

The beach casita, I dunno WHAT it is... but I know the ceremony on the beach still costs $300 USD!

cus I'm pretty sure the wedding ceremony on the beach is free.
