Thanks everyone! We ruled out the Barcelo because a family member had a bad experience there (nothing bad so don't worry if you've booked there - it was just one of those random times. Like if you go to a restaurant you like and one time get a bad meal).

 

The latest update is the Grand Palladium. It's working out to be about $300-$400 cheaper for our guests. As there are some who are really stretching themselves, they'll be able to make it if we choose the GP but won't be able to afford the Dreams.

 

As well, it's a bigger resort then Dreams which FH liked for when he needs a 'break' from my family.

So, we've decided on the Grand Palladium - hopefully November 18th. We're going to go a week before our guests so it means we'll also be there for FH's birthday!

 

I've been waiting for EVER to get a response out of Rocio though. At first she would email back within a couple days and now that's I've decided on a date - nothing. I sent her another email on the 14th in case the first one didn't go through. And then another one right now. I feel like I'm stalking her...lol.

 

Hopefully she'll get back shortly. The waiting is killing me!
