Where do you clean your cups??

Recommended Posts

One option would be to run plain water thru your in-room coffee pot (if your room has one). The heat from that will disinfect the water and then you can use that to clean your cups.

Also, you can use a bit of hand sanitizer if you want to disinfect your cup (as opposed to washing away yesterday's pina colada to make room for today's mojit0).

when I was washing my daughters cup for her milk every night, I would wash it with hot tap water and then rinse it with bottled water. She has never been ill. Also on the odd occasion that I had forgotton and used tap water for my teeth, it didn't affect me but would totally agree not to drink the tap water.

Hope this helps.

True Mo, alcohol does kill germs...lol I've eaten at taco stands in Mexico where there weren't any other tourists & the guy taking the money touched the food (which is like a huge no-no, so they say) and I never got sick, but then I met a lady who did the same and was sick well after she returned from Mexico. So maybe it's all in how lucky you are? Or how much alcohol you drink...lol

Our rep at the hotel told us that the hotel had a filtration system just not to drink the water but washing, and brushing was fine. I think alot of the resorts in the dr have their own filtration system's in place.
