Jack also makes a statement saying that there were 8 surviors but there are only 6....the Oceanic 6!

 

I want to believe that the other Oceanic surviors stay on the island.....but you never know!

I usually don't get excited about actors or read about celebrities but.. My FH has a friend from school who has played a few minor roles in movies like The Butterfly Effect, Mystery Alaska. Well tonight as we were watching Lost, there he was. He was one of the guys on the ship, the one who brought Desmond to the sick room. Ok totally off topic...

Yes! Daniel Faraday.....great character, I think he's going to turn out to be one of the good guys! Also that book that was being sold at the auction....well it was own by the Hans Group which is who funds the Dharma Inicitive! Penny's dad buys and I think that's how she becomes connected to the island because it is the journal from the ship that wrecked on the island with Danielle (french woman) on it! Great twist....I had to really think about it!

As for the mystery spy on the boat, I wish it were Charlie but I think he clearly died. Maybe it's Walt's dad? (forget his name?) But it's someone we thought we'd never see again . . .

I was thinking about the mystery spy...and this is totally random...but goes with the "never thought we'd see again" premise.....I wondered about Mr Echo? Not sure why that came to mind, just did. I don't think "dead" and "alive" matter all that much on the island. lol! I mean, hell, Charlie is dead and yet he's harassing Hurley at the institution in the future. Walt has appeared out of nowhere to Locke etc... I think it's all pretty flexible there.

 

I agree that I LOVE the new Daniel Faraday character! And I think he's a good guy too...if for no other reason then I think his interests are purely scientific...he doesn't care much who gains or loses and doesn't have any greedy needs associated with the island. . .or they're newly revealed boss.

I don't know.....Mr. Echo would be a good one. But the first thing that came to mind for me was Boone! Maybe it's because he's hot, and I was so upset when he died but I think it has to be someone who we haven't seen in a while and I think Michael is too obvious for this show.
