I'm bringing back this post from a few months ago. Apparently they are getting married this weekend: Reports: Eli Manning to Tie the Knot This Weekend - Weddings : People.com

This year's Super Bowl hero Eli Manning and his fiancée, Abby McGrew, are reportedly planning a super private wedding this weekend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

"It will be small, just friends and family," a friend of the New York Giants quarterback is quoted as telling New York's Daily News.

The paper says the couple are due to fly to Mexico Thursday, in anticipation of their Saturday event at the One&Only Palmilla resort – whose Web site says of the plush oasis: "The purity and beauty throughout the grounds of One&Only Palmilla allows for a variety of intimate celebration venues."

Others who have wed there include Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd and British actress Alice Evans last September, and, in April 2006, Rascal Flatts lead guitarist Joe Don Rooney and Tiffany Fallon, Playboy's 2005 Playmate of the Year.

On Saturday, says the News, the wedding party will include Manning's brothers, Super Bowl XLI champ Peyton and older sibling (and former Ole Miss receiver) Cooper, as well as their parents, Olivia and Archie, himself a former NFL hero.

Eli Manning, now 27, and Nashville native McGrew, 24, have been engaged for just over a year, after he reportedly popped the question during a quiet night in their Hoboken, N.J., condo. The two had met while students at the University of Mississippi, and McGrew is currently an account executive for Pamela Roland, a designer of evening wear and wedding dresses.

Earlier this month, the bride-to-be's father, Tom McGrew, confirmed the couple's upcoming wedding, telling the New York Post from his Tennessee home, "It's toward the end of April. It's private."
