I got laid off

I was laid off yesterday. I sorta thought it was coming, but to be honest, I didn't think it would be this quickly. They eliminated our entire department (marketing), half of the sales dept. including the VP and who knows how many tech people. For a company of 40 people, that's a lot!

 

I haven't had a budget to work with for 6 months so I've been BDW crazy at work. Now I'm on the job search so I hope that I can withdraw myself to focus on that. If anyone knows of any marketing jobs in MA, please let me know!

That stinks! Good girl for looking for a job immediately because the longer you wait, the more you get comfortable not working....happened to me once when I was laid off

Kate, what a crappy week for you. I have to agree start the job search right away. Are they giving you severence or anything?
