My new photobook

I think there are several talented people who can make their own albums if they put alot of time and energy into them, however with that said there are many people that just don't have the time nor have the experience to do it on their own. I think that's what's great about a photograther offering them.

That totally makes sense. I can honestly say that the first photobook I designed and ended up totally revamping would not have been something a photographer would have been proud of. But, i realized that this was something I was going to have for a lifetime and I ended up going back and completely starting over. I was sooo happy that I took the extra time...But, yeah, I completely understand how photographers would be a little apprehensive about their clients designing their own books- not everyone is an OCD perfectionist when it comes to things like that- except me!

That makes perfect sense...and your work is so beautiful it deserves to be diplayed properly...

WoW! I never thought of doing that. I am in the "old days" I guess...I only thought of scrapbook style. That is MUCH nicer! I am going to look into that! My sister-in-law is our photographer and she is an artist, so I might give her a little money to help me with it.

Found this thread... and I needed to resurface it

 

Great job on this Sarah.... you did a super job and it looks perfect. I want to try and make one of these too. Me and FH haven't booked our engagement photos yet (it WILL happen though prob in May).I'm thinking along the coast in Destin will be a backdrop for an amazing shoot.

 

I may need some assistance building up our book. I know my mac has a photobook program and the finished product looks pretty good from what I've seen. Have you used MyPublisher before??

Ya, Thanks Melissa. Wow, Sarah really is the DIY Queen. That is AMAZING! Very nice work!! That's EXACTY how I want my engagment and wedding album to look. Except, knowing me - I'd only get halfway through and give up!
