Capiz (shell) Curtain Strands

I think this is a great idea! I was already considering doing long strands of orchids or some other type of flower and hanging them on the gazebo instead of using tulle. I think intermingling the flowers and shells would be pretty! I can just see them blowing in the breeze now!

Ok, would this be corny? I am finding all these hidden costs that I didn't know about, so now that we are getting close, I need to cut back where I can. Would this be stupid? they are faux capiz curtains... AND they are only $20!

I know, that is what I think also. But I wanted to make sure I wasn't "forcing" it. But I think they look pretty good and for more then half the price? hell Yeah! Now to decide whether to purchase 1 or 2...

I would say two. One will fit in a standard doorway... but if you take each strand off then you can get away with just one.

I love that look! And what a great idea to buy the curtain from Target and just cut off the individual strands - that would be way cheaper.

I think the capiz ones are more beachy - plus I really don't think anyone will be able to tell they're not real! They look great!
