Tell me about it! That first coordinator was making me REALLY nervous, she would contradict herself and then have me all confused. I dont think she ever had a clue, lol! I am still a little anxious, but Grisele seems to be willing to answer all my millions of questions I have for her. I have just come to grasp with the response time, so I'm more patient about that now.

Initially, I was like wtf.gif, communication via email should NOT take that long!!! But I guess I am spoiled due to the fact that anyone I ever email in the US usually responds within 48 hrs, lol. But I realized not only are they on 'island time', the coordinators are also planning other weddings and dealing with the guests that are at the actual resort.

Hang in there, you'll get used to it elefant.gif

Thank you for you replies. It makes me feel better knowing that I'm not the only one waiting for responses. My fience was actually able to get a hold of her by phone last week and was able to get answers to some of my questions.

While I'm waiting for the reply, I'm going to start addressing my envelops... I'm so excited.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to send you all a quick responce and let you know that I arrived back from the Edenh real arena resort the other day and attended my sisters wedding there. The whole experience was just awesome. I can not say enough about the WC they have hired. She is just amazing and once you meet her you will forgive her about not replying as quickly as you would like. I know my sister did. She is very busy because she pays attention to every little detail and ensures a fantastic day for her brides. The wedding was beautiful, they had the wedding on the beach and the nice thing about this resort is the wedding spot is down the beach a little so it is not where everyone is sun bathing. So although you do get people coming and watching the ceremony it is not everyone being noisy and drunk. The photographer is amazing, he takes great photos (but he does not speak alot of english), so if you want specific poses, make sure to have copies of these and show the WC at your meeting because he is likely to not understand, however, he does great posing himself and the photos turned out to be more then my sister could ask for. The hair salon is good on site, 3 of us got our hair done there. A little pricey it was $80.00 for each, and the bride got her hair and nails done and it was $140. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I am going to try and post my pics of tripadvisor later today. Aloha

Can you give any detail about the setup of the ceremony and/or reception?

Where did you guys have the reception?

How many guests did your sister have?

How was the cocktail hour?

Do you know what package she chose?

Was she able to get an upgraded room?

How would you rate the overall resort?

Thank you so much for posting your reply. My mind is somewhat eased about this whole destination wedding thing! Congrats to the first EdenH Bride on her marriage and her courage for taking on a new resort. Any info in terms of flowers, please forward. Thanks. It woud be great if your sister could join this forum so we could all bombard her (LOL). Just joking (not really). No really, just joking. All the best! Cheers.

I just wanted to know if anyone got a clear answer on the minister/judge? My aunt is performing the ceremony, and she's an ordained pastor. When I met with Grisel this past week, she never mentioned anything about having a judge there. I am just spazzing out for nothing?

Also, another thing. Does anyone know a good videographer for a wedding? I've already hired a photographer to fly down, but to get a Videographer is too much money. anyone have any ideas?

I can't wait to see pics, I know all us Edenh brides are going nuts to see some pics!

I also found out today that a minister is not included in the symbolic wedding package. It's extra $!
WHAT!!! I was under the impression that a minister wasnt required for a symbolic ceremony. How much extra $ are we talking? What package are you referring to? I am about to go girl_werewolf.gif, lol.

BTW, I updated the list of EdenH brides, there are now 9 of us!!! pinkie.gif
