FYI - I just heard back from the "stafish person" about colors of starfish - here was the response ...

Hello,

Currently I only have these three colors available. There are other, larger starfish in light blue and white that I will be posting shortly. I think on the tables I could do the tan starfish and then the a colored sea glass, that could be pretty.

I think that will be really pretty with the starfish & the sea glass. I don't know if you want a specific color of sea glass or not, but I remember seeing the sea glass somewhere and it was mixed colors, so that might be an option to look for if you want a lot of different colors.

Our wedding colors are green and ivory so the starfist with green sea glass would tie in really well I think,,, plus it's so out of the norm, that's why I like it.. :-)

I went to a wedding 2 summers ago (in cape cod) where they had shells and baby starfish on the tables. It looked great! I just emailed the bride to ask her to send me a picture of her centerpieces and I will post when I get it. I'm definitely going to do the starfish and candle and maybe shells on the tables - you could always sprinkle a little sand with the shells and starfish and put a big candle in the middle? I was going to do rosepetals and candles or lemon/limes as my centerpieces but the sparkle on my dress kind of looks like shells, so i want to incorporate the shell / beachy look. I'll try to come up with an idea and post the pic. thanks for the link on the starfish for sale!

I ordered my starfish from Oriental Trading.... I too have the starfish theme running through the invitations, thank you's, table (candel, shells) centerpieces, and favors.
