i had a couple of my girlfriends come by last night, and I pulled out my dress.....it put things into perspective I guess that in the end it's him and I. It just would be nice to have a little more support I guess!!! When it comes down to it, the people that really matter will be there, especially when familly has known for over a yr now that we were doing this......

everything is great, only complaint is that we did not have enugh ppl for La Uva and ar in Areciffe (sp?) which is nice, but we did not have much selection for menu. Had to pick one this for everyone for appetisers, main and dessert and all appetizers were seafood. blah. Oh well

 

Resort photographers look like they will be great, will report much more wheen I get back Carolin a very good, but very busy.

Hi all..seems that so many of us are having problems nailing down the FI's friends and family. We have 28 people booked to come away which is amazing, however not one of my FI's friends have booked. His best friend who he'd asked to be his Best Man said he cannot come because he can't get the vacation time. FI then asked his other close friend who said 'yes' but then backed out because he's now planning to get married next summer and can't afford it. My FI is devastated and won't even talk to me about it anymore. It would great if at least one of his buddies finally came through! What's with men and this kind of stuff? It's so frustrating because my FI has so many friends that he does so much for and now it seems like they're all letting him down. The hardest part was when we originally started talking about a DW, EVERYONE was in. Now when push comes to shove all the excuses come out. Like I said, we have 28 guests already booked and we are thrilled with that, but I do feel aweful for my FI because most are from my side. Guess we're all in the same boat, hoping not to stress out about this stuff but I guess no one said it would be easy =)

I was hoping to get some of you girls advice of favours.

I am doing the OOT bags and I am spending $15 per couple and for the single guest I am also spend $15 p/p. really thought I'd only get maybe 10 people (5 couples maybe 1/2 single ppl) But now I realized I am having about 23-30 people so now the OOT bag are started to add up. I was also going to get lantern's for the dinner table favour. I was going to do this per couple as well and one for the single ppl. They are about 4$ and they are not the lightest thing. Are any of you girls doing OOT and a dinner table favour? If so what are you guys getting? I am thinking of reconsidering and just getting seashell candle holder and have those light up for dinner and then ppl can take that.

Any ideas? advice I would be so appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Tracy, I really liked the idea of oot bags, but I also have 30 people coming so my fiance and I decided not to do them. I'm gonna give out favours at dinner, I'll go buy a little something for everyone at the market on the beach, just a little thought and souvenir. I am also doing very simple centerpieces (plastic bol with water pearls and candles), just to add a little touch. I've been saying little alot LOL must be a sign to keep it simple LOL
