Your so right just extra weight for the cake cutting server.. I'm surprised it's something I did get back!!

I didn't get candle holders back(but they were $$$$) nor some tea light candles with the batteries. That's about it, I brought the sand ceremony with me when I went to go get changed in my parents room.

 

LOL yah the jugde said his little speach after we were legal, then seriously ran off to the next ceremony that is when the SIL came up and did her speech that I wrote on cue cards for her.. I think I still have it if you want it/need it.

 

Ohh I want to see your cake!! What colour did you pick for the ribbon, if you even got ribbon...

OH Tracy! You remember Lindsay...SeaPrincess. She was married last January I think. She hasn't really been on much since her wedding.

 

We got the circle cake with pink ribbon and white roses. We loved it

lol. If it was up to me I would have gotten the square but Mike said he liked the round, so I thought I better let him decide something. lol. I'm really glad he choose that one becasue its beautiful <3

did anyone get their nails done before you went? I'm looking into one of those opi axxium manicures, apparently they don't chip. I'm not a big "nail girl" (they chip all the time) but I'm wondering if you girls did, and how they held up!?

We asked for chocolate but we got white with chocolate filling between the layers. It was sooooo good, and I don't like cake! It was yummyyy!!

 

I got my nails done and they lasted really well, I got them done on Thursday, we left Sunday, got married Tuesday and they were still perfect the next weekend for our AHR.

 

You will have lots of hand pictures so get em done. lol. Unless you have nice nails, I don't. lol

lol too funny, yah got let them have a thing or two. Mike wanted green sand for our sand ceremony, I wanted red.. but we have green lol.

I had picked vanilla. Like Courtney I am NOT a cake person and this cake was sooo yummy. Minus it having it up my nose (thanks to Mike, when he kissed me it just went right up there lol)

 

I also got my nails done,but I always do when I go down south. But this time I went with the gel nails because they said it last for 2 weeks. However I did it Thursday left Saturday and by the following Thursday they started chipping which so happen to be the day before our TTD but it wasn't noticeable.

I say do your nails, it's worth it. ANd I suggest doing it back home as suppose down south. Don't know how 'clean' they are (tho I am sure they are but still.. go somewhere you know is real clean)

I got gel nails too, they stay really shiny. Regular acrylic nails look really matte after a couple of days. Mine stayed super shiny, that was the first time I had gel and they were great. Def get them done at home, I would be pretty worried about the cleanliness of their tools. As a hairstylist I just shut my eyes while getting my hair done at the spa. lol

I can't grow them long enough to make mine look pretty. I'm trying to grow them (so far so good). But they chip.

 

I've heard acrilics ruin the nails though -- are there different types? Apparently those opi axxium ones don't ruin your nails as much because they don't buff them down a lot?

 

Did you both get acrilic? or gel? I don't really know the difference - I guess that's what I will be researching tomorrow! I just want something good that I won't have to worry about for the 2 weeks I'm down there!

When I got tot he nail salon, He asked me if I wanted gel, I said whats the difference he said they stay shiny longer so I said yes. Just ask them they know. And its soo worth it they look great. PLus you'll have lots of these hand pics too!!
