Check out Courtney's wording on her STD's. I loved it!

I had my guests RSVP through my website, so they could see all of the travel info, cost, etc. They had a choice of yes, no, and send more info/brochures.
Did you do a prelimanary RSVP also? Because after my wording I stated that they can RSVP on my website also...but I wasn't sure if it was too early to ask?

What we did was last September we sent out a save the date letter. It included a weblink for passport info, prices (at the time) for 4 days or a 1 week stay and information about the hotel.

In February we'll send out a STD postcard and then again in July we'll send out the postcard with the preliminary RSVP so I can tie up any loose ends with welcome bags, etc. In late September we plan to host a "mixer" at our house for everyone who is going to meet, have some mexican munchies and we can give them some pointers on getting through customs, getting to the hotel, basic PV info etc. Then in late September we'll also send out the "Real" invitations - without an RSVP card.

We figure if they can't commit by 6 weeks out - they probably aren't going.

I did this and it worked pretty well. The only problem is the older generation had a problem with it and mostly RSVP'd via telling my parents, etc.

we're doing the same thing, asking on the RSVP card that they do it on the website. all out friends are web savvy and the only adult invited who isnt a regular computer user is my grandma, but we already know she cant come due to health issues. we ran it by a few good friends for their honest opinions and they think we're likely to get more answers back quickly because people will do it on the web instead of forgetting to send in their card over and over again. does your website have RSVP capabilities?

I'm doing the same thing and have rcvd some RSVPs already. I agree that most people nowadays are so compuetr savvy that they will prefer this method. For some older family members who I know dont have computer access, I will create a different type of STD for them where they can mail the RSVP back to me. Good luck :)

We've had some people RSVP to our website already, just from sending out our STDs. We're going to send a RSVP card with the actual invitation too, but I think we're going to direct them to RSVP to our website. We also want to know when everyone is arriving though... and our website just takes the RSVP (they can't add a message to their RSVP or anything)... can we put our email address on the RSVP card too?? We were thinking that we'd list the options, and under the yes option we would add something like: Please sned your flight information to (our email address) so we know when you will arrive.

Is this okay? other ideas?
