ROR vs Riu Negril

Hi There,

Just wondering if any of you can give me some feedback on ROR vs Riu Negril. I'm trying to decide between the two. I've heard the beach in Negril is nicer but it seems that more weddings are occuring at ROR. As well does anyone know the price to have a private reception at the restaurants after the ceremony?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

well if you're about beaches, then you cant beat the beaches in Negril, they're the best....but the thing about ROR is its alot newer over two years old so the amenities inside the property should be better...plus you have the falls close by as well...other than that its pretty much a toss up....personally I just felt that if its the same price might as well go for the new stuff....Marlon

I was told by my TA tha Riu Negril would not guarantee your reception area until you arrived to the resort - kinda scary. So, I opted fof ROR. I think ROR is a little cheaper too & newer!!
